Sandburn Hall Wedding – Suzi&Steve
Sandburn Hall Wedding | Yorkshire Wedding Photographers
Suzi and Steve’s Sandburn Hall wedding was one of those weddings that are ruled mainly by how much fun their family and friends were having all day. The hustle and bustle in the morning with the girls was calmed by the father of the bride’s presence. His constant smile and quiet excitement for the wedding was very humbling. At Steve’s parents’ house the groom and his groomsmen enjoyed a nice Gentlemen’s Hour. They had whisky and cigars in the garden before heading off to a pub to meet some of the guests.

The stunning St John & All Saints church in Easingwold was filled with love on this sunny summer’s day. Everyone seemed to be in awe of Suzi’s entrance. Her long vail filling the aisle of this beautiful church.
As photographers we keep tuned in with the ceremony by watching the emotions on people’s faces. We want to give back all the feels with our photos. We spotted the father of the groom trying to hold back his tears. A man fighting what comes natural but then letting go and living the moment. I love capturing raw emotion. When men are honest and open about how they feel I get a sense of purity. Those moments are my favourites at weddings.
The reception venue, Sandburn Hall looked gorgeous in the sunset. The highlight of the afternoon was when instead of a bouquet toss Suzi threw a rugby ball to the single ladies from the balcony. They took it very seriously, fighting to get hold of that ball. It was fun.
The sun just fully set and the party was in full swing when we left Suzi and Steve on the dance floor. They looked like they were in for a long night.
