Newby Hall Wedding – Christina&Rupert

Newby Hall Wedding – Yorkshire Wedding Photographers

Every wedding is unique. I love when couples personalise their day down to every little detail. This was very important to Christina and Rupert. Their whole day was seamlessly choreographed. A vintage double-decker bus took us to the Newby Hall wedding. The ushers were dressed as conductors and made sure all the guests were picked up and dropped off at the venue, where the always smiling Lucy Wright from Lucy Wright Events greeted us. She’s one of Yorkshire’s finest and friendliest wedding planner we know. We love how connected she is to all her clients and how smooth her weddings run. This stunning 18th century stately home, Newby Hall is a perfect wedding venue. Not only does it look stunning inside, the gardens surrounding it are beautifully manicured and bursting with colour.

Christina and Rupert’s emotional ceremony took place in the library. Hidden doors and the historic design added so much character to the place. After their reception drinks in the Statue Gallery, they planned a little surprise for all the guests outside. We got on the miniature trains that run along the River Ure at the bottom of Newby Hall. It was a fun ride with beautiful views of the gardens.

Everybody was ready for a fun filled evening in the marquee set up just by the side of the main house. So when the speeches were over after some tears and lots of laughter, delicious dinner was served. The sunset was mesmerising. Christina and Rupert went for a walk and had a little dance by themselves, enjoying a few minutes of each others company before heading back to the marquee and getting their boogie on with all their friends and family.
