Dodford Manor Wedding – Michelle&Noel

Dodford Manor Wedding | Harrogate Wedding Photographers

It was the day of Michelle and Noel’s Dodford Manor wedding and it was the warmest, sunniest day of the year so far. Although we had a long drive ahead of us, we enjoyed this little road trip. We were very much looking forward to a true summer wedding in the UK.

I can’t remember the last time we met a more excited but perfectly relaxed bride. The buzz in the bridal suite at the Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa with the laughter, the glitter and champagne were all really good signs of how this wedding was going to go. Fun levels were going to be on a high all day. Although the weeks leading up to her wedding she was still wearing her support boot on her injured leg, Michelle’s positive attitude and excitement for their big day seemed to have healing powers. After their spring Harrogate engagement shoot we really hoped she’d get better. She wanted to be able to walk down the aisle in her stunning high heels and enjoy the party all night.

Michelle got herself a stunning pair of wedding trainers, that she changed into after the ceremony. This allowed her to join in fully with the fun. When the videographers asked all the guests throughout the day to dance and sing to Uptown Funk, she was in her element. We’re looking forward to seeing the final cut of the video, as the making of it looked hilarious.

The quirky touches to their wedding didn’t stop with the video though. The quick visit from their loved Weimaraner was a surprise and Michelle had a few minutes to steal some kisses of him after the ceremony.  The Mojito Bar took them back down on memory lane to their first holiday together and how could I not mention Michelle’s awesomely brilliant slam poetry speech. The speech that blew every speech we heard so far out of the water left no eye dry that afternoon.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Cafferty, you guys really know how to put on a show to remember.
