Bolton Abbey Wedding – Laura&Tom
Bolton Abbey Wedding – Yorkshire Wedding Photographers
Arriving by helicopter to Laura & Tom’s Bolton Abbey Wedding was very exciting. Whilst Tom and his groomsmen were taking in the stunning views of the Yorkshire countryside I had the opportunity for some great aerial shots of their venues Bolton Abbey and The Devonshire Arms. As I talked about it in their engagement shoot blog Laura wanted Tom to splurge on something he really wanted at their wedding. She got herself the wedding dress of her dreams after all. At the morning prep, all the girls were eagerly waiting to hear the thrumming noise of the helicopter. Laura stood by the window of her room witnessing Tom arrive before she slipped into her gorgeous beaded dress and headed down to the Priory Church at Bolton Abbey.
Their ceremony was grand with beautiful readings. We stayed on the grounds of the abbey with them for a quick photo session before heading to their reception at The Devonshire. The atmosphere was great and the fizz was flowing when we arrived. The speeches after the wedding breakfast left most guests but mainly Laura searching for tissues. It was a warm evening and the whole of the wedding party enjoyed the last rays of the sun in the garden with games, cold drinks and cheeky cigars.
